Virat Kohli has scored 483 runs with an average of 28.41 this year without a hundred.
India's Test captain Virat Kohli couldn't find a place in popular commentator Harsha Bhogle's Test team of the year. Kohli, who is going through a century drought, hasn't got a big knock in 2021.
In the 17 innings, the 33-year-old has got four half-centuries and scored 483 runs with an average of 28.41. If he fails to get a hundred in the first Test against South Africa, Kohli will have a second consecutive year without a century in Test cricket.

Speaking on Cricbuzz, Harsha picked the India opener Rohit Sharma and Sri Lanka's Dimuth Karunaratne as two openers of his team. Rohit has been in terrific touch this year with a couple of hundreds and 4 half-centuries.
For number 3, the cricket pundit has got Australia's batter Marnus Labuschagne, who recently topped the ICC Test batting rankings. Joe Root, who has scored close to 1700 runs and Pakistan's Fawad Alam are next in Harsha's Test team of the year.
Another Indian to make it to the team is Rishabh Pant. The wicket-keeper batter has scored 706* runs in 12 matches this year for India. Apart from him, R Ashwin also found a spot in the team and he's the solo full-time spinner in the XI.
Jason Holder is the only fast-bowling all-rounder in the team, and the other pacers who were picked by Harsha are Kyle Jamieson, Anrich Nortje, and Pakistan speedster Shaheen Afridi.
