Ravindra Jadeja puts an end to Test retirement rumors with couple of tweets

Ravindra Jadeja isn't part of the Test squad for South Africa tour due to an injury.

India's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has ended all the rumors around his retirement from Test cricket. The reports over his Test retirement started doing rounds after his forearm injury.

Jadeja had missed the second Test against New Zealand in Mumbai due to an injury during the series. He was also not named in the 18-member Test squad against South Africa for a three-match series.

Amid the rumors, the all-rounder took to Twitter and posted a couple of tweets. "Fake friends believe in rumors, real friends believe in you," read a quote on the picture.

In another post, Jadeja shared his picture in the Test kit and wrote, "Long way to go". It gave his fans and admirers a sigh of relief as he is an important member of the team in Test format.

The 33-year-old has played 57 Tests for India and he scored 2195 runs with an average of 33.76. He has bagged 232 wickets at an average of just under 24.84 and an economy of 2.41.
