The three-match ODI series between England and Pakistan is slated to begin from 8 July.
Due to this same injury, Sohail had also missed the intra-squad practice matches last week and has already started his rehabilitation.
“Middle-order batsman Haris Sohail is still feeling slight pain in his right leg and, as such, he will not take part in the next two practice sessions scheduled on 5 and 6 July in Derby. Haris will undergo an MRI scan on 6 July in Cardiff, following which decision on his availability for the 8 July ODI against England will be made," the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement on Monday.

The Pakistan team is currently in the UK for the upcoming three-match ODI and as many T20I series against Eoin Morgan's England. The ODI series is slated to begin from July 8 at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.
The second ODI between the two teams will be played at Lord’s in London on 10 July, that too in front of a full capacity crowd without social distancing. It will be after a year that Lord’s will be hosting a match at the full capacity crowd.
All the ticket holders will either have to provide proof of either full vaccination or a negative coronavirus test.
Third One-Day International between England and Pakistan is scheduled on 13 July at Edgbaston where 80% capacity crowd are allowed i.e about 19,000 spectators will be able to secure an entry to witness the match.
