Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting was targeted by thieves last week. As per the reports of 7 news, the thieves entered Ponting's house and stole his car, which was parked in the driveway, on Friday (February 5).
Ponting, his wife and three children were all at their bayside home in Melbourne on Friday night when thieves entered the highly protected property.
The car was tracked after the Special Operations Group and the Airwing were deployed on the next day.

The car was found in Melbourne’s Camberwell area before it was spotted dangerously driven through the city. The police are still searching for the suspects as two men were spotted fleeing and managed to evade.
Last year, former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir had experienced a similar robbery. Gambhir’s father Deepak’s SUV was stolen from outside their house in Central Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar area.
