The Mumbaikars have been playing together for over a decade now.
Mumbaikars Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma have played in the maidans of Mumbai and the various gymkhanas in the city while growing up together. They have also represented the Mumbai Ranji Trophy team. The duo has now risen to great heights in Indian cricket and share a brotherly bond.
Rahane and Rohit were the captain and vice-captain for Team India's Test side for Brisbane Test against Australia when they created history with a young side. Since taking over captaincy for three Tests against Australia, Rahane has been in the news for all the good reasons.
Over a month after taking the responsibility of the captain and winning the Border Gavaskar Trophy a couple of weeks ago, Rahane decided to engage with his fans on social media. On Saturday, January 30, he did a QnA sessions with his Instagram fans.
One of the demands from the fans read, "Anything about Ro and your bond!". To which, Rahane posted a picture with Rohit Sharma and answered saying that they share a brotherly bond and their equation is really special for him.
He wrote, "@rohitsharma45 is like my brother. The equation I share with him is really special."
