“Another title in the bag. Real Madrid truly came together as a team during these tough times. Congratulations! Finally some good news in a year that is severely lacking any,” he wrote on Twitter.
Rohit is a huge football fan and he had also visited Real Madrid's home venue, Santiago Bernabeu in March this year.
After being appointed as the La Liga's ambassador, Rohit had said, "I am truly delighted to be associated with La Liga. It's encouraging to see the Spanish giant have made inroads into the Indian football ecosystem through their grassroots program. Personally, I see this as an interesting journey for me into the beautiful game with La Liga. I look forward eagerly to connecting with the football fans in India."
