Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has made quite an impact on the Indian Premier League as well. He is one of the few Bangladeshi players who have appeared in the cash-rich T20 league and has played for two teams- Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

He has won the title twice in 2012 and 2014 with KKR and played in 2018 final for SRH in his eight-year career. Keeping everything in mind, Shakib shared his IPL XI of the players with whom he has shared the dressing room.

“Regret casual attitude and ‘silly mistake’ that led to my ban,” says Shakib Al Hasan

He first and foremost named Gautam Gambhir, his former KKR skipper as the captain of his IPL XI. He, however, slotted him at no.3 spot with Robin Uthappa and David Warner being named openers. Manish Pandey, who scored the first IPL century by an Indian will bat at no.4.

Shakib picked himself, Yusuf Pathan, and Andre Russell as the all-rounders in the team, and Sunil Narine was chosen as the second specialist spinner in the XI. Yusuf and Shakib have played for both KKR and SRH with distinction.

Apart from Russell, Shakib packed his side with some skill and pace in the form of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Lakshmipathy Balaji, and Umesh Yadav.
