A cricket fan page included Manoj Tiwary in their Indian team Flop XI.
Injuries at the most unwanted times and limited opportunities led to his career for the Men in Blue limited to 12 ODIs and 3 T20I matches, from 2008-2015. Though he has been a regular in domestic circuit playing for Bengal and various other franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Tiwary last played in the 2018 edition and was not picked for IPL 2020 in the auctions.
Manoj Tiwary feels insulted as KKR didn’t tag him in their 2012 IPL victory post
In 2020, Tiwary scored his maiden triple century for Bengal in Ranji Trophy. The 34-year-old averages over 50 in first-class cricket with 8,965 runs from 196 innings including 27 centuries and 37 half-centuries. In One Day cricket, he has scored 5,466 runs from 153 innings including six centuries and 40 half-centuries.
Recently, a cricket fan page released its list of Team India’s Flop cricketers XI and included Manoj Tiwary in it. This didn’t sit down well with Manoj’s wife Susmita Roy and she blasted the page with stinging remarks on her Instagram page.
“Who so ever created dis profile How dare u bloody dragged my husband’s name in it. U better do ur bloody facts check. Do something in ur shit ugly life rather dan posting shit about people. Go n get a life,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
