Rohit is the only batsman to score three double-tons in ODI cricket.
He is the only batsman with three double centuries in ODI cricket which came against Australia in 2013, Sri Lanka in 2014, and 2017 respectively. When asked to choose one from the three, Rohit said that each of them is special to him for varied reasons.

He said, "My first double century against Australia has to be my favorite innings, it was very special, my second double hundred, 264 against Sri Lanka is also a special inning for me, the third double century came on the day on my marriage anniversary, so all three innings are very special for me".
Rohit holds the record for the highest individual score in ODIs- 264, which came in Eden Gardens, Kolkata. He also hit a record 33 fours in that innings.
The right-hander’s form continued to soar on as in the ICC World Cup 2019, he made a world record five centuries and made 648 runs from just nine matches at an average of 81.00. He is now the vice-captain of the ODI team, has played 224 ODIs, 108 T20Is, and 32 Tests so far.
