India opener Rohit Sharma is eager to back to training and he has already decided to go to Bengaluru once the lockdown ends. In a chat with Mohammad Shami on Instagram, Rohit said he hasn't batted since his injury in New Zealand two months back.

Shami also added that former India pacer Ashish Nehra has told him about the training camp after the pandemic gets under control.

"Ashish Bhai was saying that as soon as the lockdown opens, we will set up a training camp. Along with fitness, you will also know that if anyone has any injury," Shami said.

Rohit had to go back to home after India's T20I series against New Zealand. He had suffered a calf injury in the 5th and last T20I match.

"We should get more time for batting. I was already injured and returned to Mumbai even before you came. I was injured in February and I have not caught a bat since then. I'm guessing it will take two to three months to play. Need to focus on batting skills," Rohit said.

"In Mumbai, I do not think anything will happen, and that's why I will go to there will be Banglore for training and batting practice after the lockdown ends," he added.
