Kohli is currently 31 and he has already said the age won't play a role in his retirement decision, but his urge to play the game. Once Virat stops feeling the same passion from inside, he will quit.

In a live session with a journalist on Helo App, Sreesanth spoke about his choice of captain after the current senior cricketers bid adieu.
The question read, "After Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who do you seem as a future captain for India.” To which, he said that KL Rahul is the right guy to take responsibility. He also added that Rahul and Kohli are almost the same in work ethics.
“KL Rahul, because he is good in all three formats. He is responsible at whatever number he is asked to play. Rahul has the same work ethics as of Virat,” Sreesanth said during a live session on the Helo App.
Currently, Kohli and co are eyeing the upcoming T20 World Cup. If the pandemic gets over and everything comes back to normal very soon, we may witness the World Cup this year as per schedule.
