SRK was responding to a Twitter user who had predicted the scenario of where each team would be right now.
However, the lockdown which was supposed to end on April 14, had to be extended until May 3, as the cases kept on rising and at the given date, stand at 17,265 with 543 deaths and 2547 recoveries. The hardest-hit states are Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
This led to the BCCI suspend the IPL 13 till further orders and despite the notable losses in revenue, all the franchise owners and IPL GC took the decision to have the tournament at a later date when everything was normal again.

Meanwhile, a Twitter user Ramesh Srivats, missing the IPL very much, tweeted what would have happened in this season if it had been played. He predicted the scenarios of where each team would stand in the points table if the season was going as planned.
He wrote,”But for this virus, by now, CSK would have qualified, DC would be out, SRH confident, RR surprisingly well placed, KXP surprisingly badly placed, KKR all over the place, MI would start winning every game because they need to, and RCB would start losing every game because sigh!”
It seems that Srivats was not the only one missing the action and the unpredictable nature of the tournament. Kolkata Knight Riders’ co-owner Shah Rukh Khan also quoted the tweet by Srivats and said, “Damn I miss the unpredictable and capricious nature of the IPL tournament now!!!”
The IPL 13 season was supposed, to begin with defending champions and four-time winners Mumbai Indians taking on last year’s finalists and 3-time winners Chennai Super Kings in the tournament opener in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
