With no international or domestic cricket going on due to the Coronavirus pandemic, former and current cricketers are keeping themselves occupied by engaging with fans on social media.

On Monday (April 20), former India opener Wasim Jaffer took to Twitter and named his best T20 XI by picking only one player from a country. He handed over the reins of the star-studded line-up to Australia’s David Warner.

Jaffer, who represented India in 31 Tests and 2 ODIs, selected Pakistan’s Babar Azam to open alongside Warner while he picked New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson to bat at the crucial No. 3 position.

South African batting maverick AB de Villiers and England’s wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler were slotted at No. 4 and 5 by Jaffer. West Indies’ Andre Russell and former Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan were the two designated all-rounders in the team.

While picking the bowlers, Jaffer went with Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane as his spin options. Sri Lanka veteran Lasith Malinga and India’s Jasprit Bumrah form the pace attack of the side.
