His IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings had shared the good news on Twitter in a tweet. “Kutti Thala is here! Lots of #Yellove and #WhistlePodu to @_PriyankaCRaina and @ImRaina for the newest addition to the #superfamily,” CSK tweeted.
The left-hander now took to Twitter himself and shared the name of the child. He tweeted,” The beginning of all things – wonder, hope, possibilities and a better world! We are proud to welcome our son & Gracia’s little brother - Rio Raina. May he flows beyond boundaries, bringing peace, renewal & prosperity to everyone’s life.”
Raina has not played for India since 2018 and is expected to play for the Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming IPL 2020. However, it remains to be seen when and whether the 13th edition of the richest T20 league will be played, given that it was postponed from March 29 to April 15, keeping in view the rise of the Coronavirus pandemic.
However, with the rapid rise of this virus, the country has been ordered into complete and in some places, partial lockdown, as India experienced more than 420 cases with 8 deaths.
