He enjoyed great time in Spain with family.
Rohit Sharma is currently enjoying a great time with family in the Spanish capital Madrid, as he has been making the most of the break given by the injury during the recent New Zealand tour.
The opening batsman had to leave Team India’s New Zealand tour in middle because of a calf injury and ruled out of the ODI and Test series, which India lost.
Though, it seems that the hit-man has recovered from the injury as he is having blast at Madrid, as he went on a city tour, visiting Palacio Real, Chocolateria San Gines, and Plaza Mayor with his wife Ritika and daughter Samaira.
Rohit, who is the brand ambassador of La Liga in India – the first non-footballer brand ambassador of a football league, and an ardent Real Madrid supporter, has also watched one of the biggest matches of this La Liga season between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona on Sunday (March 1) with his wife.
The couple has enjoyed the passion of football together with 81,000 spectators in the El Clasico, the cricketer witnessing his favorite Real Madrid beating FC Barcelona 2-0 on Sunday.
He also thanked Spanish football league La Liga and its prominent club Real Madrid FC for offering a "surreal experience" to him and his family during their recent tour of Madrid.
The star cricketer captioned a picture with his wife Ritika Sajdeh on Instagram: “Thanks @laliga and @realmadrid for helping me tick this off my bucket list, what a surreal experience. My family and I had a blast. So memorable.”
Ritika also looked happy to see Rohit's dream turning into reality. She shared the same picture with a caption "his dream" followed by a red heart sticker in her Instagram story.
