Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting has said that Afghanistan wrist-spinner Rashid Khan is the best limited-overs bowler in the world at the moment and not many around, come even remotely close to having as immaculate a skillset as he possesses.

Cutting, who is currently featuring as captain for Nangarhar Leopards in the inaugural edition of the Afghanistan Premier League in Sharjah, also thinks that with the talent coming through, Afghanistan Cricket is in a "pretty good spot" at the International level.

"Cricket in Afghanistan is in a pretty good spot," Cutting was quoted saying, "There are some fantastic players out there. Some of these guys, some of these spinners that we have in our team, are as good as the best spinners in the world at the moment," and reiterated, "We saw how Rashid Khan came to the fore in the IPL. He is the best bowler in the world."

Cutting was also quite pertinently asked whether he would be willing to play the APL again if it's played in Afghanistan.

To which he wisely replied, "That is a hard question for me. It obviously depends on what time of year it is. There are so many other tournaments going on at the moment."

The 31-year-old, who is a freelance T20 player these days and has arrived into the APL after finishing off duties in the just concluded Caribbean Premier League(CPL), also said that it definitely isn't easy being a regular traveler around the world but added that he enjoys featuring in various T20 leagues.

"I don't think it is the way forward for the entire sport but it suits certain people, certain personalities," Cutting said and signed off by clearing, "I have my own reasons between retiring from Cricket Australia and Queensland to come and play these tournaments and I am much happier now doing what I am doing than I was in the last couple of years playing cricket."
