Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s sensational grab sent Taniwal packing for 13 runs off 10 balls.
On the fourth ball of the sixth over, Indian pacer Anshul Kamboj bowled a back-of-a-length delivery on middle stump. Taniwal attempted a pull shot but caught it off the inner half of the bat, failing to get the necessary elevation.
Stationed at midwicket, the 15-year-old Sooryavanshi leapt high to grab the ball but it popped out of his hands, threatening to fall behind him.
Showing immense presence of mind and lightning-fast reflexes, the teenager quickly turned around and launched into a full-length dive, stretching out his right hand to pluck the ball out of the air just inches above the turf.
