Varun Chakaravarthy continues to occupy top spot in the ICC Men's T20I Rankings for bowlers.
Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has leapfrogged 32 slots in the updated ICC Men's T20I batter rankings after an impressive comeback series against New Zealand, where the southpaw amassed 215 runs in four innings at a strike-rate of 231.18 with one hundred and a fifty.
Kishan is now placed at the 32nd position in the rankings released just before the T20 World Cup 2026, slated to get underway on February 7.
India skipper Suryakumar Yadav has moved past Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan to reach sixth spot, while opener Abhishek Sharma maintained his dominance at the top.
Meanwhile, Pakistan opener Saim Ayub has grabbed the top spot in the T20I all-rounders ranking after an impressive show in the recently held Australia series. The 23-year-old scored 119 runs and picked up three wickets during the series, which helped him displace Sikandar Raza from the pole position.
Pakistan's premier spinner Abrar Ahmed also made notable gains as he moved to the second spot. He is now 28 points behind India’s Varun Chakaravarthy, who occupies the top spot.
Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz, who claimed a five-wicket haul in the series, moved eight spots to be placed at seventh in the bowlers' ranking.
England leg-spinner Adil Rashid jumped two places to fourth, and New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner advanced eight spots to equal 23rd in the ranking.
There were also other movements inside the top 10 for T20I batters. England's former captain Jos Buttler moved up to third. Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka climbed to fifth, and New Zealand's Tim Seifert progressed to ninth.
Besides, South Africa's opener Ryan Rickleton moved 42 places to the 40th spot, and Australian all-rounder Cameron Green climbed 16 spots to 14. Proteas star Quinton De Kock, who scored a brilliant hundred against the West Indies, has gained 15 places to sit at 22nd.
