IPL 2024: WATCH- Indian and overseas cricketers of IPL franchises celebrate Holi; enjoy with colors

On March 25, 2024, the entire country of India will celebrate Holi, the festival of colors. Holi is a day when everyone plays with colors and allows happiness into their lives.

While it is predominantly celebrated by Hindus, the theme has gone worldwide, and everyone seems to be getting into the Holi spirit.

The festivities begin the night before with the Holika Dahan, in which people perform rituals and pray in front of a bonfire to honor the death of Holika, the demon lord Hiranyakashipu's sister. The following morning is Dhulivandan, better known as colorful Holi, a festival in which people paint one another and have fun.

Children engage in group play with water balloons and water pistols. People visit relatives and neighbors to consume sweets.

This time, the festival of colors, Holi has fallen in the midst of the ongoing IPL 2024 and saw many Indian and foreign cricketers enjoying the same.
