Heinrich Klaasen put on a show with the bat in Match 65 of IPL 2023 between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Thursday (May 18).

Klaasen arrived in the middle during the fifth over when SRH were struggling at 28/2. Amid the pressure situation, the right-hander took the RCB attack to the cleaners and completed his fifty in just 24 balls.

In the process, Heinrich Klaasen was involved in a 76-run stand with Aiden Markram. While Markram fell after scoring 18 off 20 balls, Klaasen held the one end firmly.

The wicketkeeper-batter continued his carnage after the half-century as well, hitting boundaries and sixes at will. He notched up the three-figure mark in the penultimate over off 48 balls with a maximum against Harshal Patel.

Soon after reaching the hundred, Klaasen was dismissed by Harshal for 104 off 51 balls. His maiden IPL century was studded with 8 fours and 6 sixes. Thanks to his dazzling ton, SRH piled up a stiff 186/5 on the board.

For his breathtaking knock, Heinrich Klaasen received rich praise from the cricket fraternity on Twitter.
