IPL 2023: WATCH – Virat Kohli reacts furiously after teammate Wanindu Hasaranga concedes six against LSG

The incident happened during the 10th over of LSG’s innings.

Virat Kohli is making the headlines since the IPL 2023 clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Monday (May 1).

The RCB star first got involved in a verbal duel with LSG pacer Naveen-ul-Haq and then was seen having an animated chat with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir.

Besides, there was also an incident where Kohli was seen hurling a mouthful in anger after RCB spinner Wanindu Hasaranga conceded a six while bowling to Krishnappa Gowtham.

During the 10th over of LSG’s innings, Hasaranga bowled up a tossed-up delivery right in the arc of Gowtham, who deposited the ball into the stands.

Kohli, who saw the ball sail over his head, was left furious by Hasaranga’s poor delivery and hurled a mouthful at his teammate.

Talking about the match, RCB defeated LSG by 18 runs while defending a modest total of 126. In a low-scoring affair, Kohli scored 31 off 30 balls.
