One of the franchises who will be looking to turn around their fortunes in IPL 2023 will be Mumbai Indians (MI), who had finished at the bottom of the previous edition as they only managed 4 wins in 14 matches.

It was an utterly poor performance by the five-time champions and they would want to do better this time as they had a pretty good IPL 2023 auction where they bought Cameron Green (17.50 Cr), Jhye Richardson (1.5 Cr), Piyush Chawla (50 Lac), Vishnu Vinod (20 Lac), Shams Mulani (20 Lac), Nehal Wadhera (20 Lac), and Raghav Goyal (20 Lac).

They also have the services of Jofra Archer who is available for the entire tournament, but on the flip side, the dream of MI fans to watch Archer and Jasprit Bumrah bowling in tandem remained unfulfilled as the Indian pacer was ruled out of the entire tournament due to undergoing back surgery.

Keeping this in mind, here is the COC Predicted best playing XI for Mumbai Indians (MI)

Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan formed a good opening pair, but Kishan had a poor outing with the bat in IPL 2022 and he would want to rectify the same. MI fans will also expect some more flair and fireworks from Rohit Sharma’s bat as well.

Suryakumar Yadav would want to gain some confidence after his poor outing for India in the recent ODI series and the IPL is a platform where he has shined brightly always. Tilak Varma was the find for MI in the previous IPL and the left-hander would want to push his case for an option for the Men in Blue.

Mumbai Indians will have a lot of options for the middle order with the likes of big-hitting Dewald Brevis, Tristan Stubbs, and Tim David along with their newest acquisition in Cameron Green. This type of batting talent might put some fear in opposition bowlers.

The spin department of MI is rich in talent with Hrithik Shokeen, and Kumar Karthikeya, who impressed a lot last season, and the experienced Piyush Chawla.

Where the MI contingent lacks is in terms of Indian pace bowling options in absence of Bumrah. They have the likes of Ramandeep Singh, Shams Mulani, and Arshad Khan to choose from.

However, they have a rich foreign pace department with Jofra Archer leading the way and options like Jason Behrendorff and Duan Jansen to choose from.
