IPL 2023: Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle arrive in Bengaluru to attend 'RCB Unbox' event

RCB will kick start its IPL 16 campaign against MI on April 2, 2023.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) welcomed fans’ favorites Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers as the trio have landed in Bengaluru ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

While Kohli will be seen in action for the RCB in the upcoming IPL 2023, starting on March 31, Gayle and De Villiers arrived in Bengaluru to attend the RCB Unbox event, which is scheduled to held on March 26.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday (March 25), the RCB announced arrival of the trio in Bengaluru. Notably, Gayle and De Villiers will be inducted into the RCB Hall of Fame at the RCB Unbox event, where the new jersey for the upcoming IPL 16 will also be unveiled.

Announcing ABD’s arrival, RCB tweeted: “The mothership has landed. We've an ???? reporting from the Bengaluru base. ???? Happy HOMECOMING, AB de Villiers! ❤”

RCB had a special mention for Gayle, as they said: “The Universe Boss has arrived at his favourite home. ???? Entertainment has officially begun. ???? Happy HOMECOMING, Chris! ????”

Welcoming King Kohli, RCB tweeted: “The wait is over and Virat Kohli is in Bengaluru! ????Happy HOMECOMING, KING! ????”

Notably, the RCB Unbox event will give the fans an opportunity to see and meet the stars like Faf Du Plessis, Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Rajat Patidar and etc. during the team's first practice session. RCB will start their IPL 2023 campaign against Mumbai Indians (MI) on April 2 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
