Shaw couldn't evade a bouncer that followed him and ended up gloving it to Kishan.
DC had to bat first after MI skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl. MI made two changes as Hrithik Shokeen and Dewald Brevis came into the XI; while DC made one change as Prithvi Shaw returned to the team as well.
After a sedated beginning Shaw hit some shots and scored 24 runs in 23 balls with 2 fours and 1 six when Jasprit Bumrah dismissed him with a pin-point bouncer showing everyone why he is rated so high by one and all.
It was on the 4th ball of the 6th over when Bumrah sent down a vicious bouncer that followed Shaw, as he tried to evade it by ducking and swaying to the leg side. But the ball hit the gloves of Shaw and ballooned up the air, and MI keeper Ishan Kishan had to make a diving effort to pouch the catch.
This left Shaw on the ground but he was given out and Bumrah celebrated with MI team.
