KL Rahul slammed identical scores of 103* against MI in both matches this IPL 2022.
MI captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first. LSG captain KL Rahul repeated his feat from their last match against MI and scored 103* in 62 balls with 12 fours and 4 sixes to his name. This was Rahul's 4th ton in IPL history.
In reply, Rohit Sharma looked good for his 39 and Tilak Varma made 38, but the rest of the batting capsized against a disciplined LSG bowling as Krunal Pandya returned the figures of 3/19 in 4 overs as MI ended their 20 overs on 132/8 and lost the match by 36 runs.
This is a record 8th loss for MI in the tournament, while LSG moves to the 4th spot in the points table with 5th win in 8 matches.
