The whole LSG innings was about KL Rahul and how he held one end together as wickets fell on the other end. The next best scorer after him was Manish Pandey with 22 in 22 balls. Meanwhile, Rahul smacked 103 in 62 balls with 12 fours and 4 sixes to his name. He reached his 4th IPL ton with a six, and it was his second against the same opponent in the same IPL season.
In the end, MI managed to restrict LSG to 168/6 in 20 overs. Kieron Pollard with 2/8 and Riley Meredith with 2/40 were the main wicket-takers for MI.
