Krishna took to social media to celebrate RR’s win over KKR.
Prasidh Krishna has been very impressive in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). After playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for 4 seasons, he was picked by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in this year's mega-auction.
RR faced KKR on Monday (April 18) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The inaugural IPL champions piled a massive total of 217/5 in their 20 overs, thanks to Jos Butler's second century of the season (103 off 61).
The chasing side, led by Aaron Finch (58 off 28 balls) and captain Shreyas Iyer (85 off 51 balls), steadied the team’s ship after losing Sunil Narine’s wicket early and appeared to be on track to reach their goal. Prasidh then took the crucial wicket of Finch, swinging the momentum back in his team's favor.

Yuzvendra Chahal with his leg-spin did the rest for the Samson-led side. He took 5 wickets, which included a hat-trick, while giving away 40 runs in his 4 overs. In the end, KKR fell short of the target by 7 runs.
After the sensational win, Prasidh Krishna took to Instagram to celebrate the victory. He posted a picture with the caption, 'YES WE CAN.' KL Rahul was quick to see the post and responded with a funny remark in their native tongue, which had cricket fans in splits. Rahul and the 26-year-old pacer are from the same Karnataka state team. Rahul wrote, "Easy tiger. Yakk jagla adtya yavaglu? (Why do you always fight?)"
