The 19th match of the IPL 2022 will see Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on April 10, 2022. DC is coming off a loss in a match in which they struggled with both the bat and the ball against LSG, while KKR beat MI in their previous encounter.

KKR has been in terrific form and the way they defeated MI may take their confidence to the sky, especially knowing that they are facing a DC side that is coming off two straight losses in their previous two matches.

Keeping this in mind, here is the COC Predicted Playing XIs for the KKR v DC match in Brabourne Stadium

KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS

KKR is coming off an amazing win over MI and will have their confidence soaring. Venkatesh Iyer played a mature knock on a difficult pitch, but the non-performance of Ajinkya Rahane can hamper them in the long run. They can opt for Sheldon Jackson at the top or bring in young Baba Indrajith to have a fresh perspective at the top.

The middle order of Shreyas Iyer, Nitish Rana, and Sam Billings has been steady and scoring runs as needed. It is a kind of luxury to have hitters like Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and now Pat Cummins coming in after the regular batters.

On the bowling side, Narine, and Chakravarthy have done a terrific job of stifling runs in the middle order. Umesh Yadav has found a second wind of sorts, leading the most wickets column. However, KKR is still trying on his new-ball partner and Rasikh Salam might get another chance to prove himself.

DELHI CAPITALS

Delhi Capitals would feel crushed after a poor performance in their last match against LSG, in which both their batting and bowling were below par. Prithvi Shaw batted like a dream on that DY Patil stadium pitch and now with Warner partnering him at the top, expect much better things from these two.

Rishabh Pant needs to bat up the order to give himself time and marshal the troops. Rovman Powell has gotten enough chances to show his worth and his failure at the crunch time may do him some harm. Sarfaraz Khan showed a spark of his old RCB days.

While Lalit Yadav and Akshar Patel have done well with the bat, Kuldeep Yadav has been excellent with the ball with renewed confidence and zeal to succeed.

Anrich Nortje was expensive in his comeback match, but give him a couple of matches to get his form back. Mustafizur Rahman and Shardul Thakur need to take on a bit more burden while Nortje gets his wind back.

KKR COC Predicted Playing XI:

Venkatesh Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer (C), Sam Billings (WK), Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Pat Cummins, Sunil Narine, Rasikh Salam, Umesh Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy

DC COC Predicted Playing XI:

David Warner, Prithvi Shaw, Rovman Powell, Rishabh Pant (C-WK), Sarfaraz Khan, Lalit Yadav, Akshar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Mustafizur Rahman, Anrich Nortje
