IPL 2022: Dinesh Karthik picks this Delhi Capitals star as the 'player to watch out for' in IPL 15

Karthik also named his overseas MVP for IPL 2022.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) keeper-batter Dinesh Karthik has picked out one player who he thinks is the player to watch out for in the upcoming IPL 2022. The 15^th edition of the tournament begins on March 26 with 10 teams participating.

There will be 70 league matches played across four venues in Maharashtra with the 10 teams including the two new franchises Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants, being divided into two groups of five teams each.

Meanwhile, in a chat with Cricbuzz, Dinesh Karthik, who joined the RCB franchise for his second stint, was asked about one player who is to watch out for in the IPL 2022. Apart from Karthik, RCB also roped in Faf du Plessis amongst other players and named the former CSK opener as their captain for the upcoming IPL 2022.

Karthik feels David Warner will be the 'player to watch out for' and also named Devon Conway as the 'overseas MVP' in the 15th edition of the league.

"Definitely David Warner (when being asked about the player to watch out for). And I say that because he's someone who has shown greatness in IPL over a period of time, [he has won] three Orange Caps.

Obviously, last year didn't go according to plan but I am sure he'll have a point to prove. He's gone back to a franchise that he's played for before. Interestingly, I've played with him in that franchise, terrific cricketer, and I am pretty sure he'll have a very, very good season," he said in a chat with Cricbuzz.

CSK signed New Zealand opener Devon Conway to replace Faf du Plessis who was bought by RCB. The veteran Indian wicket-keeper batsman feels Conway will do wonders for the MS Dhoni-led franchise.

"Devon Conway (overseas MVP). He's a new import, he's going to make his debut for CSK. Terrific player. He's had a brilliant couple of seasons for New Zealand, did very well even in the World Cup under pressure even though he batted in the middle-order which is not something he does [often]. I have a feeling he's a very strong player and will go very very well for CSK," opined Karthik.

The IPL 2022 begins on March 26 in Mumbai.
