Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer T Natarajan on Sunday (20th March) broke a stump while bowling during the franchise’s practice session ahead of the IPL 2022.
Natarajan was bought back by SRH for INR 4 crores at the IPL 2022 auction last month. The left-arm pacer came into the limelight during his stint with the franchise in 2020. He picked 16 wickets in that season and impressed many with his brilliant yorkers. His heroics even earned him an India cap in all three formats of the game.
Natarajan missed the majority of IPL 2021 due to a knee injury. The pacer played only two matches during the season and claimed two wickets at an average of 34.50.

With the 15th edition of the league just a few days away, the Tamil Nadu-born pacer has begun his preparations for the tournament and will be eager for his comeback.
SRH shared a video on their Instagram account, in which he can be seen breaking a stump during a net session.

Natarajan so far has played 24 games in the IPL. He has 20 wickets to his name at an average of 34.40 and an economy rate of 8.23.
SRH will begin their IPL 2022 campaign against Rajasthan Royals at the MCA Stadium in Pune on March 29.
