IPL 2021: WATCH – Arshdeep Singh cleans up Shubman Gill with a ripper of a delivery

Punjab Kings (PBKS) pacer Arshdeep Singh on Friday (October 1) once again proved why he is counted among the most promising fast bowling talents in India.

The 22-year-old left everyone in awe as he produced a magical delivery to get rid of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) opener Shubman Gill on 7.

During the third over of KKR’s innings, Arshdeep drew the first blood for PBKS. The ball pitched up around off and nipped back in sharply to castle Gill’s stumps.

With this dream delivery, the left-arm pacer also received rich praise from former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan.

Taking to Twitter, Pathan wrote: “What a ball to get rid of shubman by @arshdeepsinghh keep an eye on this boy. Bowling 135 swinging around.  Good prospect. #IPL2021”.

Before this game, Arshdeep had featured in 10 matches of PBKS this season, claiming 14 wickets at an average of 17.57 and an economy rate of 7.60.
