Mumbai Indians will face Chennai Super Kings in the first match of the IPL 2021 second phase.
Mumbai Indians (MI) batsman Suryakumar Yadav has started practice ahead of the IPL 2021 in the UAE. He completed mandatory quarantine and joined captain Rohit Sharma, and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the nets after returning from the United Kingdom.
Suryakumar is looking forward to the remaining matches of the IPL 2021 and he's happy to be back to the MI camp. In a chat with the MI social media team, he said it feels like he has been with the franchise in UAE for the last 6-8 months.

"It feels great to be back here. I feel I was here only for the last 6-8 months. It feels the same, coming in from the dressing room, going into the net area, batting against the same bowlers, same guys with the stick," he said in a video posted by MI on Twitter.
However, there is a lot of difference in weather from the UK. He said it takes time to adjust coming from 18-20 degrees in England to 40 degrees in UAE and the team management is taking care of them.
"A little challenging for first 6-7 days and obviously today. As we were playing in, I guess 18-20 degrees over there (England) and here it is close to 40 degrees. So, it will be a challenge. But our management is taking quite good care of it. Nice hydration process being slipped over our room. Really looking forward to the first game," he concluded.
Suryakumar has been one of the most reliable batters in the Mumbai Indians line-up. The franchise would be hoping for a strong performance from him in their frist match of the second phase in Dubai on September 19.
