Glenn Maxwell was part of the Punjab Kings franchise before moving to Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Australia batsman Glenn Maxwell, who is playing IPL 2021 for Royal Challengers Bangalore, got out under 20 runs for the first time this season. Maxwell has been impactful with the bat, unlike the last year's IPL when he couldn't even hit a single six.
Maxwell was part of the Punjab Kings (PBKS) squad last season and his poor form forced the franchise to release him ahead of the IPL 2021 auction. But he kept doing well in this season and that made netizens joke about PBKS' decision.
But the Aussie failed against PBKS in their clash on Friday (April 30) and Punjab's batting coach Wasim Jaffer posted a meme on his dismissal on a duck.

Maxwell failed to open his account as left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar clean bowled him. Jaffer took to Twitter to share a meme from the movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'.
"Ye toh sach hain ki bhagwan hain," read the meme in which actor Mohnish Bahl posed with a mic. ". @PunjabKingsIPL fans when Maxwell got out ???? #PBKSvRCB #IPL2021," wrote Jaffer in the caption.
PBKS registered their 3rd win of the tournament in 7 matches by 34 runs as RCB were restricted to 145/8 while chasing 180 runs in 20 overs.
