RCB have 10 points thus far while PBKS has 4 points.

The 26th match of the IPL 2021 will be played on April 30 in Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and will see Punjab Kings (PBKS) taking Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in an exciting encounter that will begin at 7.30 PM IST.

KL Rahul and PBKS are not having a good time at all in the ongoing IPL 14 as they have just two wins in the six matches they have played thus far and are placed 6th on the points table. RCB, on the other hand, is at the 3rd spot at the moment with 5 wins in 6 matches.

While PBKS needs to win a match to get back into winning ways, RCB is looking to continue their victory bandwagon. Keeping this in mind, TEAM COC presents the Predicted Playing XIs for the PBKS v RCB encounter at Ahmedabad on April 26.

PUNJAB KINGS (PBKS)

Punjab Kings (PBKS) have done everything they can to win matches, but their inconsistencies have been the biggest hurdle in their success. Because how can a team with certified T20 big-hitters like Chris Gayle, KL Rahul, Nicholas Pooran, and Deepak Hooda, only managed 123 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders, a team that was at the bottom half of the points table at that time.

PBKS batting and bowling have not been in sync and they have not been able to string up good scores while batting first, while their bowlers have struggled to defend totals.

And they will face RCB who are on a song as a team and which had similar problems, like strong batting, but inconsistent bowling. They have drastically turned things around and PBKS will have a tough task to beat them.

ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE (RCB)

Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has been on a dream run in this IPL 2021. They have 10 points on the points table with 5 wins in 6 matches.

Though their batting is struggling a bit, with them seemingly dependent on Glenn Maxwell, Devdutt Padikkal, and AB de Villiers, their bowlers have been in top form. Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Devdutt Padikkal have done well, though inconsistent.

Kyle Jamieson, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Washington Sundar have been in top form and are doing amazingly well in their specific roles.

RCB will be facing a potentially dangerous side in PBKS, who on their day can decimate any bowling attack. However, Kohli and his men are confident in taking on any team and it will be PBKS who need to be wary of RCB’s might in this matchup, which PBKS needs to win to stay alive in the tournament.

PBKS COC Predicted Playing XI:

KL Rahul (C&WK), Mayank Agarwal, Dawid Malan, Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran, Shahrukh Khan, Fabian Allen, Chris Jordan, Mohammad Shami, Ravi Bishnoi, Ishan Porel

RCB COC Predicted Playing XI:

Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli (C), Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers, Washington Sundar, Daniel Sams, Kyle Jamieson, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal
