IPL 2021: WATCH - Rashid Khan says whole Afghanistan is standing with India in fight against COVID-19

The second COVID-19 wave has wreaked havoc on Indians.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan has shown support to India in their fight against COVID-19.

India on Friday (April 30) recorded over 3.86 lakh new Covid-19 cases and continued to report over 3,000 deaths for the third consecutive day, as per Union health ministry data.

Earlier, Pat Cummins and Brett Lee had come forward to extend their support in the fight against Coronavirus. Rashid took to Twitter to post a video and wrote that everyone in Afghanistan is standing with India in this tough time.

"Everyone back home in Afghanistan is with you INDIA in this tough time. Please everyone stay safe stay home maintain social distance and Wear Mask plz Folded hands #WeAreWithYouIndia," Rashid wrote, urging fans to stay safe.

India's tally of total Covid-19 cases now stands at 1,87,62,976, the highest since the pandemic started in 2019. The situation in the country is only getting worse after the second wave.
