Ex-cricketer Pragyan Ojha has played with MS Dhoni for the Indian cricket team.
Former India cricketer and IPL governing council member, Pragyan Ojha recently revealed MS Dhoni's superstitions. He said Dhoni never wishes his teammates good luck before the match.
Not only fans, but most players also have some superstitions to bring luck. Ojha said Dhoni believed if he wishes someone good luck before the match, usually things didn't end well for them.
"MSD will never wish his team members 'all the best' or 'good luck' before a game. Because he feels, if he wishes somebody quite a few players he has wished his players during a game, it ended up in a very different way. That's maybe why he has stopped it." Ojha told Sports Today.
"Once we had a conversation about people having different kinds of sentiments and that's when he said he never wishes his players before a game. And before the game, none of the players from the opposition to go him. They don't want any wishes from him."
Even Deep Dasgupta shared an interesting observation about Dhoni. He said used to keep the pen with himself after signing match balls for fans in the IPL.
Currently, Dhoni is leading Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing IPL 2021. They have won two matches out of three and will be facing Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday (April 21).
