Pandya brothers, Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav have already joined the franchise.
Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma has joined the squad for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) edition. Mumbai is playing the IPL 2021 tournament-opening match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
The official Twitter account of MI posted the video of Rohit's arrival after a fan asked for an update. "Where is RO, Here we GO!", wrote the franchise while sharing the clip.

Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav, who were also part of the same bio-bubble with Rohit have also joined the MI squad.
"Firstly really happy and very proud to represent India. It was always my dream to play for the country. It feels great and I was really happy to be part of such an amazing unit.
"And now, that role is over and I am back to my Mumbai Indians family. Looking ahead to unbelievable times ahead," said Suryakumar in a video posted on the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai, the defending champions, have to play their first five matches in Chennai at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium.
