Rohit took Twitter to share IPL promo video which predicted trophy for MI.
Mumbai Indians (MI) broke the jinx of winning IPL only in even years after lifting the trophy in IPL 2020. Before this season, MI had won in 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019.
Although MI has a very strong side currently, those who believe in superstition thought they wouldn't be winning this year because of 2020 being an even year. But skipper Rohit Sharma had already predicted it won't affect them as IPL 13 is also even.

Rohit recalled the promo for Star Sports ahead of the IPL 2020 and wrote, "We indeed went even this season. Bola tha aapko mamu inki ganit weak hai ???????? @mipaltan @StarSportsIndia".
Mumbai is currently at the top with five trophies, the most among all the current IPL teams. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) comes second to them with three trophies. MI had defeated CSK last year to take a lead in the race of trophies.
In the IPL 13 final, Delhi Capitals (DC) had qualified to challenge MI but they got crushed for the fourth time in this season, just like CSK last year.
