Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma refreshed the memories of fans by going back in time to recall the franchise's past. He spoke about the two great of the game, Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting batting together for MI.

Ponting played for the franchise in only one season; in the year 2013, while Sachin remained the part of the franchise from 2008 to 2013 as a player, and now as an icon and mentor.

Talking about the IPL 2013, Rohit said, “Another big and an important memory that I personally have is of watching Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting go to bat together. It was an unreal scene to watch them bat together.

“All these years we had only watched them bat against each other, but to watch them bat together for one team was a great experience."
