Meanwhile, RCB struggled to find momentum on the very slow pitch though AB de Villiers (39) and Virat Kohli (50) added 82 runs for the third wicket. Devdutt Padikkal also made 22 as RCB ended on 145/6 in 20 overs.
For CSK, Sam Curran picked 3/19, Deepak Chahar got 2/31 and Mitchell Santner also picked one wicket.
