AB de Villiers hit back to back sixes out of the Sharjah stadium.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) wicket-keeper AB de Villiers rocked the Sharjah cricket stadium with mammoth sixes during their fixture against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
AB de Villiers saved the day for RCB with a quickfire knock of 73 runs off 33 balls. He hit 5 fours and 6 sixes in his inning to take his side to 194/2 in their 20 overs.
In the 16th over of the innings bowled by pacer Kamlesh Nagarkoti, De Villiers launched the third and fourth balls of the over out of the stadium over deep mid-wicket for 85 and 86-meter long sixes respectively. Both these balls hit moving cars on the road beside the stadium.
His fellow South African pacer and Delhi Capitals cricketer Kagiso Rabada took to Twitter to cheekily ask AB de Villiers whether he has now started hitting cars during cricket matches.
Rabada wrote, "@ AB de Villiers you hitting cars now?!"
@ABdeVilliers17 you hitting cars now?! ????

KKR never got going in the run-chase and failed to get to the target. They could manage only 112 for the loss of 9 wickets and suffered a huge 82-run defeat against RCB.
Currently, RCB and KKR are placed third and fourth in the IPL 2020 points table with 10 and 8 points respectively after playing 7 games each. The Royal Challengers will be back in action on Thursday, October 15 against Kings XI Punjab once again in Sharjah.
