Heated discussion took place between Tewatia and Khaleel in the last over of the match.
SRH had made 158/4 thanks to Manish Pandey’s 54 and captain Warner’s 48 runs. In reply, Khaleel Ahmed removed openers, Buttler and Stokes, in quick succession, while Smith got run out. Though Samson and Uthappa tried to rebuild the innings, it looked all over for RR at 78/5 in 12 overs.
But then Tewatia (45* with 2 sixes and 4 fours) and Riyan Parag (42* with 2 fours and 2 sixes) added 85* runs for the 6th wicket and snatched victory from SRH’s jaws. Tewatia was also named the Man of the Match for his efforts.

However, in a tense final over, where SRH needed to defend 8 runs, bowler Khaleel Ahmed and Tewatia clashed in an angry way where the batsman was seen pointing at something, while the bowler ignored him.
After the win, Tewatia hadn’t cooled down and angry words were exchanged between him and Khaleel once again. David Warner tried to calm down Tewatia and even the umpires intervened. Then Khaleel Ahmed put his hand around Tewatia’s shoulder and both sorted out the issue and walked off the ground.
