Delhi Capitals are currently on top of the points table with five wins in six matches.
Delhi Capitals (DC) co-owner Parth Jindal surprised his players and support staff with a touching gift for them. After defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the DC members were asked to join Jindal for a meeting.
Initially, Jindal told his players he wants to talk about the previous failures, but when the video started everyone got surprised. It was a personal message from family members of the players and team staff.
From Ricky Ponting to Rishabh Pant, everyone had a broad smile on their face as they saw the video clip recorded by their loved ones. They also received personalized gifts at the end of the franchise which had pictures of their family.

Head coach Ponting reminded the players of the sacrifices made by them and their family members so they could play this IPL in the pandemic. He said if players keep this thought in mind, they wouldn't take any day for granted and will give their hundred percent each time they take the field.
The official Twitter account of Delhi Capitals shared the touching clip with fans on the micro-blogging site. "Delhi, Dubai, or any part of the world, we always aim to keep players closer to their families. Our Chairman & Co-owner, @ParthJindal11's stirring surprise made the DC stars emotional and surely brought them. Not just a team, a family away from home," they wrote.
Delhi is putting their best game on display this season. With five wins in six matches, they have occupied the top spot in the points table.
