Ricky Ponting is the head coach of the Delhi Capitals in IPL 13.
Former Australian captain and now Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting revealed his dangerman from the Rajasthan Royals (RR). on Tuesday, September 22. Previously picking his dangermen from the Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore, Ponting has picked an English opener as his dangerman from the Royals.
The 45-year-old has picked Jos Buttler to be the force for RR in IPL 2020. They have a strong foreign contingent consisting of Steve Smith, Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes, Tom Curran, David Miller, Andrew Tye, Oshane Thomas, and Buttler himself.

Ponting said, "My dangerman from the Rajasthan Royals is Jos Buttler, who I think has found himself at a position at the top of the order in T20 cricket. He's taking his game to another level. (He) obviously take the gloves as well."
"He's had a remarkable last few months with England. He has the confidence and the wickets here (in the UAE) will suit him. He scores against the new ball, he scores against the old ball and he scores 360 degrees around the wicket. So Jos Buttler is a very, very complete T20 batsman, certainly when he's opening the batting," he added.

Buttler scored 44 off 29 and 77* off 54 in the two T20Is he played Australia earlier this month and was declared as the 'Man of the Series'. He will be looking forward to bring his form to the UAE for the Royals.
