The IPL 2020 has finally moved to UAE and will begin from September 19 onwards. All the players of the participating eight franchises have been confined to their hotel rooms for six days after being tested for COVID-19 upon arrival in the UAE.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) players and coaching staff including the likes of skipper Virat Kohli, head coach Simon Katich, director Mike Hesson and senior players like AB de Villiers, and Yuzvendra Chahal took part in the very first virtual team meeting.

"Cheeku hamara kachumbar bana dega," Irfan Pathan says to Twitter user taking a jibe at Virat Kohli

The players and staff were welcomed to the meeting by director Mike Hesson and all of them discussed the need to follow the BCCI SOPs when it comes to the bio-secure environment prepared for the tournament.

During the conversation, Virat Kohli stressed the need for all the players in the franchise to adhere to the SOPs and mentioned the name of AB de Villiers in his speech as well. He then asked Hesson for the repercussions of breaking the bio-bubble.

After Hesson explained the aftermath of a player breaching the bio-bubble, Kohli said that if any player or staff do so under any circumstances, it will let the whole team down including himself.
