Rohit was sidelined due to his injury in the final T20I against the Kiwis.
Indian opener Rohit Sharma who has been in sublime form for India across formats for about some time now, but had to return home mid-tour after he was injured during the last T20I of the series against the Kiwis.
This injury cost Rohit the ODI series that followed the five-match T20I series. There were also some reports that suggested Sharma might not be able to be fit for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

But the batsman himself gave a positive update as he posted a video of him training in the gym. IPL will get underway with Rohit-led Mumbai Indians taking on MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings in on March 29 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
