By Jasveer Singh Kharra - 14 Apr, 2019

Rajasthan Royals beat Mumbai Indians by 4 wickets at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and registered their second win of this season and also kept their hopes of playoffs alive.

Earlier after being asked to bat first, Mumbai Indians openers Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma gave a great start of 96 runs in just 11 overs but after Rohit Sharma's dismissal, Mumbai Indians couldn't score quick runs in next a few overs. In between Quinton de Kock also brought up his fifty but he himself couldn't hit big boundaries and in the end, Hardik Pandya's cameo helped his team to post a good total of 187/5.

In reply, Ajinkya Rahane and Jos Buttler gave a quick start of 60 runs and set the match for a good finish. Ajinkya Rahane got out after scoring 37 runs off just 21 balls and at the other end, Jos Buttler started playing his shots and kept smashing Mumbai Indians bowlers all over the park and his 89-run knock off just 43 balls made this chase an easy one. In the end, Rajasthan Royals lost a few wickets and gave a chance of coming back to Mumbai but Shreyas Gopal's little cameo of 13 runs helped his team to cross the winning line. Jos Buttler was named Man of the Match.
