KKR posted 220/4 in 20 overs after MI won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Ravi Shastri hosted the toss with MI captain Hardik Pandya and KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane present with the IPL match referee. However, a broadcast glitch was caught by eagle-eyed fans during the toss.
Hardik Pandya tossed the coin in the air, and Rahane called for tails, but the broadcast glitched, and the viewers didn’t see the coin or on which side it landed. Shastri was seen telling MI captain Hardik Pandya that he had won the toss and he opted to bowl first.
However, the fans weren’t happy with the broadcaster and levied allegations that they favored five-time champions Mumbai Indian,s and such things only happened in their matches in the IPL.
