IND v SA 2025: WATCH- Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli bat in nets at JSCA Stadium ahead of Ranchi ODI

The first ODI will be played in Ranchi on November 30.

India will face South Africa in the first of the three ODIs, which will be played at the JSCA Cricket Stadium in Ranchi on November 30. Ahead of the first ODI, veteran India batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen batting in the nets and getting into the groove.

Kohli and Rohit have already arrived in Ranchi, and the rest of the squad is expected to follow soon. Some cricketers are set to reach Ranchi this evening, and a few others will make it in the morning on Friday.

Rohit Sharma is coming off a brilliant outing in Australia, where he scored 8, 73, and 121* in three ODIs and was the Player of the Series. On the other hand, Virat Kohli had made 74* in the third ODI after scoring two ducks in the first two ODIs.

Viral videos on social media showed Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli batting in the nets in tandem. They faced the net bowlers and looked in good touch with the bat.

The two teams have faced each other in 94 ODIs, with India winning 51 games and SA emerging victorious in 40 matches. Three games have yielded no result. 

The second ODI of the series will be played in Raipur on December 3, and the third and final ODI will be played in Vishakhapatnam on December 6.
