The first T20I between India and England to be played in Kolkata on January 22.
England's white-ball skipper Jos Buttler moved hearts with a heartwarming moment in Kolkata before the first T20I against India on January 22.
During a hectic practice session, Buttler made the time to interact with Dharamvir Pal, a wheelchair-bound Indian fan and specially-abled cricketer, signing his bat and even carrying it along to collect signatures from his England teammates.
In a widely shared video, Buttler interacted with Dharamvir, demonstrating his genuine warmth and regard. Dharamveer, a well-known cricket fan who frequently attends matches around India, was noticeably delighted by the conversation.
Buttler's gesture, which included a brief talk and a pledge to return the autographed bat, endeared him to fans and demonstrated the captain's humility off the field.
